May I prepay?
Yes. There are NO pre-payment penalties on residential homested properties. Commercial plans may incur reasonable charges if the plan is pre-paid within the first year.
When are my payments due?
Payments are generally due on the 1st of each month unless special arrangements are made in advance.
How do I make my monthly payments?
The ACH agreement authorizes RETax Funding to debit your checking account each month. If you choose to make payment by check or money order, a special handling fee of $10 per payment will be charged.
May I make additional payments?
You may make additional principal payments by sending us a check or money order to the address provided along with instructions in writing to do so.
Will my property be foreclosed if I am late or miss a payment?
Our goal is the same as our customers' - to provide a solution to your situation and avoid foreclosure. RETax Funding views foreclosure as the last possible measure.
