How much does it cost to apply for a property tax plan from RETax Funding?
There is NO application fee on any of our plans. However, commercial and investment properties sometime require additional due diligence from third parties (for example, a survey or updated environmental site assessment) and a minimal deposit may be required to cover these costs. Any deposit made will be reimbursed to the borrower at closing.
What up-front costs do I pay for a property tax plan?
None. A property tax plan from RETax Funding will include all costs it incurs in funding the taxes (e.g., title search expenses, recording fees, loan documentation cost, etc.) so that our borrowers pay nothing at closing.
How much are the closing costs?
Fees vary on the amount of taxes owed and the complexity of your particular situation; however, rates and fees are capped by the State of Texas.
Can I determine the length of my plan?
Yes. A property tax plan from RETax Funding is unique because we give our borrowers the flexibility to choose the length of term best suited for their particular situation.
How long is the term?
We offer terms of 3-, 5-, 7- or even 10-years depending on the customer's situation and needs. Interest only is also available.
What is the interest rate?
Our interest rate is currently 14.8% - far below what property owners can owe taxing authorities and your interest rate will be fixed for the life of the plan.
